Method to Play YouTube Video in Background

Playing YouTube videos in the background in automation will be done with each Google Chrome and Firefox. you’ll be able to use either browser, however, your version of Chrome should be v.54 or higher.

Step 1: Launch YouTube in your smartphone (Android | IOS | Windows etc) as you would normally do.

Step 2: Navigate to the video you want to play in the background.

Step 3: Click on Share option and copy the link to the clipboard.

Step 4: Open Google Chrome or Firefox then paste the link to the URL bar & navigate it.

Step 5: Go to the Settings menu by tapping the three dots in the upper-right corner of the window.

Step 5: Afterward, tap Request Desktop Site on Google Chrome or Firefox.

Step 7: Play the video and follow the next step.

Step 8: Now Press the Home button to close your browser. If the video stops playing while using Chrome, you may also have to pull down the notifications bar and press play.
